MONTANA, USA - you have our hearts!
It's been half a week since I returned from Montana, the word literally means 'mountain' in Spanish... I didn't think I could have fallen in love with that place as much as I have...
You all know I'm in love with Turtle Island - with the land. I'm in love with the rocks and the mountains. But it's everything about that land that I love. And I love the visible warmth and enthusiasm and welcoming of its people. MANA feels SO incredibly received by USA. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can't tell you guys how it feels.
At times, I feel exhausted on this path. I feel like I've been consistently inviting people into this experience of freedom non-stop, in every way, being audacious, pushing through my comforts, willing to break through 'nice', ever-consistent for 17 years now in sharing these opportunities for people to feel more joy and love.
It does take its toll when so many say no. It does effect my heart when people turn from the most powerful experience I can possibly offer them. Thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of no's. Each one with a residue that touches my mama's heart, my visionary feeling for where we want to take this human race.
When people say FUCK YES, I'm up for what you have..
When people say I SEE AND FEEL THIS POWER AND I'm HERE FOR IT...
When people say OF COURSE I'LL HELP YOU GROW THIS THING and they actually enact that? The feeling is so foreign, so wanted, so needed and such a spiritual relief that I don't think I'm letting it all the way in.
MONTANA - thank you.
You people are showing up.
I am so excited about where this can go with you guys solidly on board. We CAN take this work into schools, into corrective facilities, into the reservations, into where it needs to go, TOGETHER. Kuskan.
I'm moved. I'm serious. I'm playful. I'm sore in my heart.
I'm tired, I'm enthused. I'm everything at once.
But I'll NEVER give up on the human race and what I know we can swiftly be moving toward relative to freedom and love.
If you're in, let it be known.
